Yay, time to start picking some things and it isn’t my nose or butt! Garden is doing great this year, check it out!
tacos maybe. not sure. craving spicy. Last night made killer sushi rolls, yes, I am a sushi whore. One roll had steak in it with A-1 sauce, then paired it with a green onion and red pepper, I call it Japanese Fajita Roll. Next two were craw fish and tilapia tempura. All were delish.
So that guy that made an appointment with us to see our place completely flaked! Yes, Jason Dennis of Memphis, TN, I am talking about you. You are a rude individual. This guy calls us a week in advance to set an appt. I told Dave the night before the appt to call the guy, so he does, the guy confirms for 9am, and says that he will call at 8am before he is on his way. 8am, came and went, 9:15 rolls around and he calls and says that he is on his way, running late and will be here at 10am. The guy never showed and never picked up the phone when we called him again, what an a-hole, we waited around until Noon for him, thinking maybe he could have gotten lost or something. He very well could have driven by and didn’t like the place, but show some manners and pick up the phone.
Busy week coming up.
Worked for 5 hours today, then hooked up a knock-off, homemade sushi dinner. Pickled my own ginger and was really good just after one night, imagine if it set for a week. I also made an attempt at duplicating the white sauce that you see at Benihana or Kampai. Grilled up a steak that I marinated in hoisin, lime juice, ginger, garlic and olive oil. It all turned out pretty good I thought. Dave agreed, but who knows if he was telling the truth, lol!! It was all gone, so a good sign.
Still progress going on the property here. I ordered our for sale sign, fencing should be up at the end of the week. All good things happening, very cool. Dave is just coming in with dessert, better be something good, later.
As I type, there is a guy in a tractor, bushhogging the crap out of the front of our property. Then next week Dave puts a fence up out front, that along with everything else we have done, it will complete our improvements to this place, done, overwith, no more!!!! For sale sign goes up after that! Will post the completed pics in a couple weeks when we are done.
Yay! Driveway is installed, maybe I can have a clean care from now on. woohoo. Dave did a great job, by himself as usual. I supervise from inside.

We don’t have anything planned today. Supposed to be over 100, so we will stay indoors most likely. Just watched Serena beat Venus and now the men’s doubles are on, waiting for the men’s finals, go RF! Maybe tomorrow.
I went out and took mass pictures of the garden and the property this morning. Everything is so green and beautiful, I love this time of year. Hate the bugs tho. Biting flies, gnats buzzing in your ears is is hard to bear.

Just can’t bear to look at it anymore. The goats are gone, we are bummed. They got out somehow, we don’t know how. =(

Here is a video of te snow and a brief first look at our new property. Obviously it is in it’s beginning stages, lots of junk and crap to get rid of. We made a make-shift dog kennel. The tractor and old ford truck out there is the guy that owned the property before. Until the contract closes, we are unable to move anything. Dogs had a good time this morning. Here it is, may take a while to load, it’s a big file. You also may need to push play to git’r started. (Update) File should be ok, transferred it to You Tube.
