Been a busy and productive Sunday thus far, usually I am laying around still. I ran this morning, that makes 5 times this week, woot. The dogs joined me again and made it around a little more than usual, still lazy asses. Dave watched from the house, another lazy ass. ha! kidding babe. I also did the dishes, made breakfast sandwiches for the week, picked up a bit. Can’t believe it’s past noon already. Not sure what the rest of the day will entail. It is raining off and on, so ruining our gardening plans. It is coming along good so far though, check it out…….

Next up…..Dave wants to till it once more. He has lyme, fertilizer and something else I forgot the name to put in the dirt. I am going to work on a Scarecrow and as soon as he rain stops, I will work on my rows and planting.

The more I am here at our new home the more I fall in love. It is so peaceful and nice here. Last night was very romantic, we went for a walk around the property as the sun was setting, it was beautimus and perfect. Well except for the stench of Off! Bug Spray in the air. Bugs are horrible here. Speaking of, check out this moth, it is the biggest moth I have ever seen. Crazy looking thing. It’s called a Luna or Lunar Moth. It’s the size of a small bird. This is outside our front door nightly, loves the porch light.

For weeks I haven’t been able to login to myspace. Sometimes I am able to, most times I am not. When I would clear my cookies it would help, but then again, sometimes it wouldn’t. When I googled the problem, a lot of posts talked about being hacked, etc. It isn’t that and yes I am using the right password TOM!. When I try to login, it says, “You must be logged-in to do that!” I try to click on the home link and nothing. Half the time I give up and try again later. I emailed a friend about it to see if she could login and she told me that it said I was online. Weird.

Well I figured out a fix, don’t login at myspace.com. Login at this link instead…. http://login.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=login.process it’s flawless and works every time. Don’t mind all that stuff it says about, your account being shut off for 15 minutes, ignore it and login.

So all of you on Yahoo answers looking for a solution to this problem, try this!

UPDATE: STILL WORKS AFTER A COUPLE DAYS!

Come on, we all do it. Leave our clothes in the laundry a little too long. We try not to, but it happens. I googled how to get it out and came across most posts saying you can’t get it out and some saying use vinegar. Well, Vinegar works for sure!! These kitchen towels of ours, nasty, pisses me off because I can never get the smell out. They smell lovely now, you could use them when getting out of the shower, they smell so good. I use the Downy, Simple Pleasures, Vanilla and Lavender, smells awesome. I put the towels in with soap, make sure it’s soap. HOT HOT HOT water and a cup of Vinegar. Worked like a charm. Oh and DO NOT MIX BLEACH AND VINEGAR!!!!!!! I didn’t do it, but came close, thank God for Google.

I went to my first, in person, job interview today. I was actually very calm, which was unusual, normally I am ready to puke. Just one of the many reasons why I think this job is for me. I did great! I got along with them good. It is for a CPA firm out in the Country. No more driving to Memphis, WOOHOO! I will know by Monday or Tuesday. Can’t help but feel real good about it. One thing that really stuck with me from the interview, she said that they all help eachother out; they are a team working together. There are no stupid questions, no competing, just everyone with a common goal to be there for each other for the success of the company. If I get the job, I can’t wait to see it in action. The last company I worked sucked at it. Talked about wanting to be a team, but was never there when you needed it and was made to feel stupid when you asked. Yea Carmen, I am talking about you bitch. oopsie, where are my manners. FOCUS JENNY!!

The only thing that sucks about the job is that I have to give up my business license for my bookkeeping business. Just got it, I only have 50 bucks invested, so it’s no big deal, but I just think that taking this job is doing the right thing. More experience in this field is a plus, especially considering I am taking on 25 new accounts, woohoo. I will be taught taxes too which is great. I want to take my CPA exam in the future and working for this company will help in that too. Keep fingers crossed for me please, I NEED A JOB!!

It’s after work on a Friday, was kinda hoping for a little fun tonight. Dave is out in the yard working, doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. Feeling the urge to……….I dunno, just have fun, been cooped up in this house for weeks. Wish I could call all my girls and boys back home to go out and get funky. Miss you all!

Woke up this morning expecting to head over to a temp agency to take some tests, but they called and rescheduled for next week. Went out and got a run in instead. Been trying to get the dogs to run with me, but they are old and lazy. Dave suggested getting a puppy. Not sure about that yet. Now I am sitting here making out our meal schedule for the next week and a grocery list. It’s been tough having to stick to a budget. When it has come to food in the past, we just get whatever we want. Last week I spent over 200 bucks in nothing flat, can’t keep that up.

My eating and exercising has been going good for my first week at it. Ran 3 times in five days and will do more this weekend. I have been grubbing on yogurts, eggs and toast, ½ sandwiches for lunch and 3 main food groups for dinner, small portions. I usually don’t like to get on the scale for a week since my last weigh-in, but I couldn’t resist this morning, my hips feel slimmed down. Wouldn’t you know, 3 pounds lost. Only 9 pounds to go. 135 is a good goal for now.

Have a killer weekend, we are working on our garden, weather permitting.

Since being unemployed, I have come across a couple work at home scams that I want to post on here for people on the net who are experiencing the same frustration as I am.

Scam #1 - Virtual Data Typist Work at Home, Email addresses used are; virtualwork@hawaii.rr.com and home4work@hawaii.rr.com. Fake website is at: www.goldnirishprofits.webs.com. First they lure you in by saying that you will do virtual work from home and you will be paid on a per project basis, blah blah. You pay them $25 bucks for them to send you a training packet in which they say you recoup your money on your first paycheck. When you get the training packet, there is no way to make a steady income. There are no projects for you to do. Basically it is information on how to start your own website just like they did to start scamming money from YOU! Here is the email to view. UPDATE 5/4/2008: Got an email from this guy, he is all pissed…lol. Calling me an idiot and how dumb I am that I couldn’t make money. It’ all in your adveritising dude, you are manipulating people that are stressing about finding work for your own financial gain. This is my opinion only and I have every right to share my experience with the world.

Scam #2 - Email from a Kevin Williams, Email address used us: chrisw.rothe@gmail.com. The website is, better-rentals.net. The company name is; Better Rentals GmbH in Schwanthalerstrase 21 – 25 – Munich – Germany. They got my resume off Yahoo Hot Jobs, now since been removed. Better Rentals is an online company for renting and buying property abroad. They want you to be the go to person in collecting money on behalf of their companies. You have to open a bank account and everything. Thought about contacting the FBI on this one, we’ll see. There was no exchange of money and the only confirmation that I have that this is a scam is that I found other people on the next when researching them with the same issues and saying it was a scam. Scam #3 - Email from Barbara Potocki, HR Admin, ICQuotes.com, Tel/Fax: (810) 692-6923. Offering an Admin Assistant position. Phone number is no good. They don’t allow you to respond to the email. No exchange of money was made. Here is the email to view

I hope this info helps anyone out who may be researching these companies.

Lookie, we have growth already, it’s only been 2 days!!! Broccoli, Basil and Green Onion! My favs!

On my laptop, I kept having a huge amount of space that would not delete. It acts like it does delete it, goes through all the steps, but all the files are still there. I did some searches on the net, didn’t find anything that helped. One said check permissions which I did, all was good. Another said to delete the actual recycle bin that it is just an icon problem (not). I went into the error logs and found that every time I tried to empty the recycle bin, it had a disk error. I ran a chkdsk (Check Disk) at boot time, it found some corrupt files and the problem is all fixed now.

So for all you out there with the same issue that no one in the tech forums would help you with, this is how you fix it!

Alright, this is it. I haven’t exercised in over a year and time to step it up a notch and get it going again. No more excuses. Dave made me a track around the part of the property where the mower video was taken (below), I can’t find my pedometer anywhere to see how far it is around the track, but we are guessing it’s a 1/4 mile track. Yesterday I did 4 rounds, this morning I did 8. That’s power walking and running combo, I like to switch it up that way I am not so worn out. Running on the grass is a challenge, there are some spots that make my ankle cringe, so have to be careful.

To help me with my scheduling, I am using my Microsoft Outlook to put in task reminders and I have it set to remind me to exercise for 1-hour a day. I am going to try my damndest to do it that often, I have the time now, but my goal is every other day FOR SURE!!! Key words are I HAVE THE TIME NOW, drill it in your head Jenny!!!

Now for my eating, I am not going to get all crazy. I have a theory on what I believe works and that includes eating whatever I want. I don’t want to go through life being miserable not being able to have certain foods, so my take on it is to eat whatever you want, just eat less of it. We will see just how that works!

My weigh-in is done and I added it to my long list of weigh-in’s over the years. Funny how much I changed, I was damned skinny in 1999 and I am almost my wedding size now. The long lapse between 2003 and 2007 is because I bloated up into the high 160’s!!!! jeeeeez louise fatty.

So this is my announcement to the world and to myself that it is time to kick my ass into gear baby!!!!! It’s on!

Been an eventful morning already. I got up a couple hours before Dave did and started on my garden, check it out….

In this batch we’ve got, Artichokes, Green Onions, Tomatoes, Broccoli, Lettuce, Parsley, Jalapeno, Basil and Bell Pepper. They will sit in the house fo 6-8 weeks or until most reach 2-3″. Outside garden we are planting, Cucumbers, Green Beans, Catnip, Cilantro, Watermelon, Yellow Squash, Radishes, Sweet Corn and Zucchini. Yummers!
