Here is a video of te snow and a brief first look at our new property.  Obviously it is in it’s beginning stages, lots of junk and crap to get rid of.  We made a make-shift dog kennel.  The tractor and old ford truck out there is the guy that owned the property before.  Until the contract closes, we are unable to move anything.  Dogs had a good time this morning.  Here it is, may take a while to load, it’s a big file.  You also may need to push play to git’r started. (Update) File should be ok, transferred it to You Tube.

Dave and I have been married for 5 years today, can’t you believe it?  HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABE! 

Took some video this morning of our property.  Didn’t walk the whole thing, just some to show the surroundings.  Sure is pretty out.  Slight problem with the video, my internet connection is so slow, it is taking forever to upload.  We are heading out to sushi and the Memphis Grizzlies are playing against te Boston Celtics at the Fedex Forum tonight, we got tickets from a friend, thanks Glen!  I will start uploading the video now and it should be done by the time we get home tonight, then I’ll post it for you to see.

Woohoo, it’s snowing here!!  I made it home in the nick of time.  Dave is still working, hope he will be able to make it home later.  Tomorrow I will take pics of the aftermath.

Called the water company today and asked them about other things that can go wrong with large water bills.  I asked about the meter and if they go bad, she said yes, but it won’t advance the usage ahead, it will just stop.  Made sense.  Then she started looking at the old records from the guy that was here before and she paused, put me on hold and said she see’s something funny, will check it out and call me back.  Cross your fingers!!!  Now the question is, will they refund me what I had to pay a plumber to come out.  OMGGGGGGGGGG, it is a blizzard outside, I gotta get my camera, late. UPDATE: Called the water co. today and thank god I did.  A lady investigated the account and saw something funny, she checked it out and they applied the old bill for our property to this one.  So now my bill went from $175 to $9.  hehe love it.  But no, no refund on the plumber.  Assholes, Dave will probably put a call in now.

UPDATE: Camera battery is dead.  Charging, will post something later.  Here is a pic of the storm just hitting.

 

Sitting here at home on a Thursday morning, waiting for the plumber to get here, he is late.  We got a notice from the water department that our bill has skyrocketed in a short period of time and we may have a leak.  Oh Joy.  We have killer water pressure, second hand on the meter isn’t moving and I did a lot of cleaning in our first couple weeks here, so it very well may be a fluke, we’ll see.  Wish me luck!
