I had a frickin blast tonight. There was a dealers meeting with one of our vendors from work. Each year they throw a thank you dinner party for all their customers. I was really nervous going because I didn’t know anyone but my boss, and while he was 45 minutes late, I decided to mingle instead of standing there looking like an idiot. Met this cool chic Natalie and can’t wait for us to get together at a later date, but what was the most fun was visiting with the chef of the party, Robert Hayes is his name. He said that he has worked with Emeril, Bobby Flay, etc. He told me about going to cooking school in Paris and showed me around the place and food, it was pretty darned cook, I want to be a chef when I grow up. hehe
