We are back from our mini-vacation, we drove 10 hours up north to Dave’s Mom’s. Her new hubby has a house on the lake.  We fished most of the time but didn’t catch shit!  Ate a lot and got super sunburned, it was a blast!  My car doesn’t seem to be having any problems anymore, it drove like a champ on the trip.  We did however get a chip in the windshield only 30 minutes into our drive.  Isn’t really big enough to get fixed, but things are different in TN then in CA.  You have to get your car inspected before renewing the registration, so I will have to get it taken care of.

So much to do, so little time.  Robby will be here in 20 days or so, we still have his bedroom to clear out, and our bathroom to re-do.  ugh, the pressure.  hahaha. 

We rented Basic Instinct 2 last night.  One word.  Lame. 

Been a nice morning thus far.  Got to the grocery store early and back home relaxing on the couch, playing Tiger Woods golf on Playstation, watching Pride and Predjudice (new one), doing a crossword puzzle and drinking my chai tea.  Dave woke up with a headache today, so he is still sleeping.  ok, he just walked in, gonna fix him some breakfast.  Asta!

The added stress lately, the grumpiness, the out of control mood swings.  Yup, the monthly you know what is upon me.  I know, to much info right?  Being a woman and going through this crap is actually pretty funny when you think about it.  You have a few days a month that are terrible pain, then you go 3 weeks thinking life is great, then, it’s like you hit a brick wall, you are in a bad mood for days and you don’t realize it at the time that it is your period, it’s always after you cause a scene, or throw a tantrum or get mad at someone that you realize, duh, I have PMS.

So last night I watched Rock Star: Supernova.  This one chic on there totally rocked!!  Dilana is her name and she is a bad ass.  Here is her pic.  I predict that she will win.

Taking my car in today for a second opinion.  Wish me luck!

So many things to complain about this morning!  Just woke up on the wrong side of the bed or something.  Had a good weekend, nothing exciting.  Got stuff done around the house and ate more potato salad then I should have.  haha.  It was so damned good!  I did get 3 sessions of working out in, so I feel better about it.

Took my car in to get looked at on Friday.  Over $3,500 of work needs to be done, so I am completely stressed out about it.  It’s always something I tell ya.  We get back on our feet financially and then BAM, something else comes up.  Sometimes I don’t think we will ever get out from underneath it.  They were charging me $180 per hour though, which seems awfully frickin high.  Getting a second opinion on Thursday.

Someone’s birthday is upon me and I am struggling with if I should call or not.  I never understood these one way friendships and what pisses me off the most, is her excuse is always, “well I don’t have an excuse, it’s just me”.  Well I don’t like the person you have become.  That forward enough to say?  Over it!  Another friend of mine always makes me believe in friendship when I am down about it.  She is always there for me whether she is busy or not.  What do you always tell me?  “Takes two minutes to say hello to let someone know you are around and thinking of them.”  Thanks for taking the time, you know who you are.  I appreciate you.

More to vent about, but I am sick to my stomach.  Damn stress.  Happy Fourth of July!
